About Me:

Mingshan Lu, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Economics at University of Calgary, where she has been on the faculty since 1997, after earning MA and Ph. D. in economics from Boston University.  She is also an Adjunct Professor at Department of Community Health Sciences and a Member of the O'Brien Institute of Public Health at University of Calgary. Dr. Lu has been the Lead of Health Economics at the Methods Hub, Alberta's Strategy for Patient Oriented Research (SPOR) Support Unit, a Fellow at the Institute of Health Economics in Alberta, as well as a Member of Network of Alberta Health Economists (NOAHE).  She has been a Visiting Professor at University of Technology, Sydney, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), as well as Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in China.
