Social Life

1- Potluck End-of-Year Celebration

All student and faculty are welcome to attend. This event is usually held at the end of the academic year in the Winter Term. Its our opportunity to celebrate everyone's hard efforts throughout the year and unwind before the summer deadlines for PhDs presenting at conferences or writing their comprehensives, second year papers or masters projects. These events have been conducted in many ways such as an international potluck event or BBQ potluck outside the department. 

2- Interdepartmental meets

These social events are initiated to develop ties with other departments. These include trivia nights, outdoor events or other social events at the LDL. Get chance to find out about other grads and departments! 

3- Learn n' Drinks Workshops

The Learn aspect of these events come under the Academic efforts of EGA; however, the Drinks part is an initiative to motivate students to participate in the academic portion and then take part in relaxing and socializing over drinks at the LDL. Drinks on us!
