About Me:

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at University of Calgary, where I have been on the faculty since 1997, after earning Ph. D. in economics from Boston University. I also hold an adjunct faculty appointment at Department of Community Health Sciences at University of Calgary; am a fellow at the Institute of Health Economics in Alberta. From 2004 to 2005, I was a Visiting Professor at Centre for Health Economics Research and Evaluation (CHERE), University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
